"Little League baseball is a very good thing because it keeps the parents off the streets." – Yogi Berra
Welcome to the Most Exciting Youth Baseball in the Region
Hatfield Little League (HLL) offers five sanctioned leagues from tee ball to majors. Our Little League program is available to all residents living within the boundaries of Hatfield Little League. HLL is an independent, non-profit organization that is run by parent volunteers. We maintain one baseball facilty with a total of five playing fields - all at Hatfield Elementary School. HLL endorses the National Little League philosophy in hope to enhance the playing experience for our children. The following is an excerpt from the National Little League organization:
"Little League Baseball is a program of service to youth. It is geared to provide an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It strives to inspire them with a goal and to enrich their lives toward the day when they must take their places in the world. It establishes for them rudiments of teamwork and fair play."
